Yes, for a standard car in good weather. The pass road (SH8) is paved and well-maintained. It is steep and winding — take your time, use a lower gear on the descent, and avoid driving it in heavy rain or fog if you're unfamiliar. Our staff will advise at delivery based on current conditions.
Can I pick up in Vlorë and drop off in Saranda or Tirana Airport? +
Yes — one-way from Vlorë to Saranda or Tirana Airport (TIA) is available. The fee is confirmed at booking. M.A.C.K. operates both endpoints so no third-party return charges.
Do I need Premium insurance for the Riviera roads? +
Premium insurance (SCDW) removes the excess on most car groups. On mountain and coastal roads where the risk of a small scrape is higher, many travellers prefer the peace of mind. You can add it at booking — we'll confirm the cost for your chosen vehicle.
